Claus Birkenbeul
Managing Partner
Before co-founding BCRA Claus was a Portfolio Manager at Talanx Asset Management where he was responsible for the real estate and infrastructure portfolio of the group. Prior to Talanx he was at Archon Group – the asset management platform of Goldman Sachs – where he was responsible for the asset management and business analysis of real estate holdings.
Previously, Claus was at KPMG Audit Financial Services. Claus holds master degrees in Business Administration and Strategy from MUNICH BUSINESS SCHOOL and INSEEC BUSINESS SCHOOL, Paris and a bachelor´s degree in real estate management.
Burhanettin Yurtseven
Managing Partner
Prior to co-founding BCRA Burhanettin was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Talanx Asset Management. In this role he was primarily responsible for the real estate and infrastructure fund portfolio of Talanx Group.
Before that he was with Pramerica Real Estate Investors where he was responsible for real estate investment activities in Turkey. As a General Manager based in Istanbul he successfully realized a number of significant real estate projects with landmark character. Previously, Burhanettin worked in the asset management teams of AMB Generali in Cologne and MEAG in Munich focusing on commercial real estate portfolios.
Burhanettin holds a degree in Real Estate Economics from the EUROPEAN BUSINESS SCHOOL in Oestrich-Winkel. In 2009 he became a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

Impact Investing
We understand impact investing as an investment approach that goes beyond a pure focus on return and risk. Positive social and / or ecological effects should be as direct, intended and demonstrable as possible. We are concerned with a measurable positive social and / or ecological impact. According to this definition, impact investing goes beyond the previous ESG or SRI approaches.
